Six steps to Pea(k)ce Performance!

Imagine walking with a glass full of water and colliding with someone, what gets spilled?

Water.

What if it contains coffee?

Coffee.

And what if it has shit?

Shit right?

Now since we agree that a glass can only spill what it contains, let’s draw a parallel with Life.

You are the glass,

Your thoughts and feelings are the contents of the glass,

You colliding with others are the situations and people you encounter in your daily life.

And this essentially means that in the face of good, bad and ugly circumstances, your responses will be determined by what’s inside you. So doesn’t it make sense to sort out your contents?

And how to do that?

By consciously designing your life for Peace; not for the crests of joy or troughs of sorrow, 

but for that steady experience – that steady and straight horizontal x-axis. 

And this can be done easily by:

  1. Sticking to a morning routine- Exercise, Sunlight, Meditation, Cold shower for happy hormones
  2. Eating right- same balanced diet everyday; no sweat over calories and that secret superfood
  3. Learning (growing) and contributing to the work you love, during the day
  4. Following a night routine- having dinner with friends/family for belongingness and Reading/Journaling for reflection before hitting the bed at a sane time
  5. Getting good quality and enough quantity of sleep – mostly determined by above four steps

And most importantly, by having an abundance mindset and being hopeful for the future.

And this needs to be done everyday because Life is lived every day, not only on weekends or vacations.
